Incidentally, the Barbaro have long been known as one of the 'Seven Locale', ie; one of the earliest Ndrina's to settle in Australia and reputed to still maintain links to the old country. Francesco "Little Tree's" Barbaro was a central figure in a number of raids and connected event's leading up to the murder of Donald McKay, and another family member Pasquale Barbaro was an early 'supergrass' before he was murdered in a suburb outside of Brisbane.
